Be a Decision Maker at the Annual Meeting
Comanche Electric Cooperative (CECA) is a member owned, not for profit organization, governed by a Board of Directors. CECA's service territory is divided into seven districts, each served by a director who resides within that District and is a member of CECA. District meetings were called in three of our districts for the purpose of nominating candidates for their district, to be voted on at the Annual Meeting to be held in August.

The results of those meetings are:

  • District #3: Ruby Solomon was nominated to run uncontested for the District 3 seat.
  • District #5: Current Board Chairman Lewie Newman chose to step down from the board. Members of District 5 nominated Jeff Phillips and Troy Stewart.
  • District #6: Loren Stroebel was nominated to run uncontested for the District 6 seat.

Members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting on August 14th at the Comanche City Park and have your voice heard by voting and electing your Board of Directors.  For a full explanation of the qualifications for a Director, as well as information on how to become a director, please refer to Article 3 of CECA's By Laws.

Bio's and photos of all candidates can be found here.
